We’re thrilled that you’re considering a kayaking adventure with Enjoy-Crete during your holidays in Greece. This guide answers the most common questions and gives you practical details to help you choose the ideal day trip, multi-day journey, or full sea kayaking expedition.

If you’re planning a multi-day or expedition trip, begin by browsing our published dates. Spots are limited, so early planning helps.
Day trips, on the other hand, run daily, depending on weather and current bookings.

Before contacting us, make sure to read all the content on each trip.
Our summer base (April-October) is at Ilingas Beach, near Chora Sfakion, southwest Crete.
Most summer trips depart from here.
This is the only trip that can run with just two participants.
All others require a minimum of four.
Not Sure About Your Skill Level?
Day Trips
No previous experience is required when conditions are calm.
If conditions worsen and you cannot safely join, we reschedule.
If rescheduling isn’t possible → full refund.
Multi-Day Expeditions
Most require a skill level equal to:
- Sea Kayak Award levels up to 3* (British Canoeing)
Advanced trips need at least Sea Kayak Leader (4)* level.
Each expedition description clearly lists the difficulty level.

Simply use the booking form on the trip’s page.
We reply within 1–2 days (often same day). If after 2 days you haven’t received a reply please be sure that you checked your junk folders as sometimes our emails end up there due to their content.
🛶 Renting a Kayak?
Check our Kayak Rental page and read every requirement carefully, especially the skill level needed.
Crete’s summer winds are very strong and is very common to blow force 5 for days.
For rentals, we must be strict to ensure your safety.

If a trip isn’t listed, it may be:
- Not scheduled yet
- Lacking minimum participants
